We run courses funded by the Erasmus programme.

As part of the cooperation between the Stained Glass Museum and the Erasmus programme, we would like to invite organised groups to special classes which will allow them to create their own stained glass masterpiece from scratch. The instructor, who is an experienced workshop worker, will guide participants step by step through the entire process of designing and creating a stained-glass window.

The course programme is created individually for each group, depending on their preferences and expectations. It will be perfect for people who want to develop their skills as well as for beginners.

A stained glass window created with us will not only be a unique decoration, but above all, a hand-made souvenir from Krakow.

The length and detailed programme of the course can be agreed on. The basic elements of the programme include:

a) visiting a functioning Stained Glass Studio and Museum, introduction to the art of stained glass making.
b) making and preparing your own stained-glass design,
c) making tracing paper and templates
d) cutting and grinding of glass
e) placing patina on selected elements,
f) framing a stained glass window using the Tiffany method

Opening hours

The Stained Glass Museum is open for visitors from Tuesday to Saturday from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm and 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm, on Saturdays: 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Closed: Sundays, Mondays and holidays. Tickets can be purchased via the on-line booking system or at the museum box office. Come and try!

Guided tours

Visiting the museum is possible only with a guide and starts with at least 2 people. Duration 45 minutes. Visiting hours in English: 12:00 noon, 3:00 pm. Visiting hours in Polish: 12:30, 15:30, Saturdays also 13:30, 16:30 and 10:00 am for children. Visiting hours in Ukrainian: every Saturday at 14:30. Organised groups (min. 10 participants) are invited to call or e-mail us to book the tour also at other hours.
